Trident Energy Services is growing! We continue to serve our long-time clients and we're growing to serve new clients in the US and Colorado.

December 2011 In partnership with the Governor's Energy Office, Trident is launching the Energy Management Assistance Program (EMAP). EMAP is designed to help small, public agencies develop robust energy management programs and implement energy savings measures in their facilities. During its beta phase, Trident will be working closely with up to 10 groups of communities across the State to craft energy saving strategies.
December 2011 The Main Street Efficiency Initiative (MSEI) is coming to a close. The MSEI program was developed by the Governor's Energy Office and Trident to help small businesses save energy and save money. MSEI programs were implemented in over 30 communities across Colorado, with Trident providing project management and technical assistance to both communities and small businesses.
November 2011 Trident started work as a contractor for ECube. ECube is a local energy engineering firm that specializes in quality assurance and optimization services. Trident will be performing energy audits for retro-commissioning and retro-commissioning surveys at the USDA Biological Research Laboratory in Fargo, ND.
May 2011 Trident was ranked the 7th fastest growing private company in the Boulder County Business Report's 2011 Mercury 100 survey, in the category of businesses with annual revenues less than $2 million. The Mercury 100 is a list of the 100 fastest growing companies in the Boulder Valley over a span of two years with categories over and under $2 million annual revenue. This year's list is based on percent increase of annual revenues from 2008 to 2010.

During this economically challenged period, Trident realized a significant growth in business and annual revenue as it provided money saving energy management direction to state and local governments, school districts, and businesses. According to John Canfield, Trident's owner and President, "The increased general awareness of the economic and environmental benefits of energy efficiency, conservation, and sustainability spurred increased business opportunity in this industry. Trident developed highly qualified professional staff and resources and a delivery method that allowed us to benefit from this increased demand for energy services. Trident will continue to diversify and expand our services during this and future years.
